Leave behind the city noise and let yourself be seduced by the astounding profusion of one of the most pure scenarios: the patagonian channels. From Reloncavi Sound, Golfo de Ancud, Golfo Corcovado or Canal de Moraleda, to the beautiful sight of the Andes’ chain descending at the coast of Península Taitao. A course in which Golfo de Penas (Gulf of Sorrows) reminds us of the eternal route of the ancient natives, where the remains of the Andes’ rupture turned into small islands covered with coihues, lengas and short cypresses. A live testimony submerging in the Southern Patagonian Ice Fields where multi-color waters surrounding Puerto Edén salute the passengers and house the last Kawéskars of the area. Finally, arrive to Puerto Natales, entrance city to monumental natural landscapes such as Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, the natural monument of Milodón and Parque Nacional Los Glaciares in Argentina.

Itinerary

	Puerto Montt – Golfo de Corcovado
The journey begins at 14:00 hs. when a warm reception to welcome us takes place after which we can embark. At 16:00 hs. the ship leaves harbor, cruising Calbuco towards Reloncavi Sound, while the Captain introduces us to some safety precautions to observe during the trip. As the ship sails we cross Golfo de Ancud and Golfo Corcovado, while enjoying dinner and a musical show on board.

	Golfo de Corcovado – Canal Pulluche
We continue cruising by Melinka, reaching the Brieva passage and Peñon Blanco, from where we enter Canal Pulluche channel and cross it to reach open sea by the afternoon. During this day we not only enjoy the landscapes but also informative keynotes about the very particular flora, fauna and history of the area. At 19:30 hs. dinner is served, afterwards, movies are played at the lounge.

	Canal Puchunche - Canal Concepción
The cruise continues by the channels area and then enters Canal Messier to cross the path through Angostura Inglesa and Bajo Cotopaxi; then we cross Paso del Abismo and reach Canal Concepción. By the morning (only in high season) we disembark at Puerto Edén and during the afternoon we attend a glaciology and geology keynote about Torres del Paine. After dinner we can join the farewell party.

	Canal Concepción – Puerto Natales
We sail Canal de White to finally enter Seno Ultima Esperanza (Last Hope Sound) and reach Puerto Natales. Disembark is around 15:00 hs., depending on wind conditions.

Notes

The usual weather in the navigation areas covered by Navimag Ferries is that of rainy seas, typically presenting 2.000 to 4.000 mm of annual precipitations, low temperatures with very small variations, extending from Puerto Montt to the north section of the Maggellanic region, including the whole area of islands constituting the channels.

Seasons

Enjoy a unique and unrepeatable experience, because no matter what season it is, the landscape and the natural light will always play a major role, enhancing the scenery and enriching the adventure.

The awesome image of the snowy peaks and the blooming vegetation replete the landscape during the winter months, when a calm atmosphere prevails, giving a smoother pace to the sail. The characteristic Patagonia winds are lower in intensity, as they regain strength at the beginning of summer.

It is important to note that the longer and more luminous days of summer make the green trees and vegetation flourish, refreshing the landscapes’ colors and reflecting the abundant flora on the crystal clear waters of the patagonian channels.
